Emmie is a young adult, passionate about the art of disc jockeying and turntablism.
Born on 16th March, he always had a keen eye for music particularly urban music, a mild sense of fashion, technology, and consequently looked up to the best disc jockeys around town that played in a funky style that matched his preference.
With his inner desire to learn, Emmie started venturing into the art in 2016, after being picked up by Ripper Inc. 256’s CEO.
From then to date, he has grown to learn adventurously, one step at a time; understanding deeply and replicating the art of Turntablism, adding a twist of his own style to it through looking at some of the best disc jockeys in the world. DJ Angelo, DJ AS-One and Q-bert are some of his mentors.
He is working tirelessly with the entire Ripper Inc. 256 team to give a new face to disc jockeying in Uganda, East Africa and Africa by promoting the real art of Turntablism in the African style of play.
Today, he is pursuing his bachelors degree and also tutoring others in the Turntablism craft.
